Although it was not a lot of material, it was critical that this section of the pan be removed for the floor to lay flat.

The corner around the tub of this panel must be re-radiused before welding in place. These lines were drawn after calculating the clearance needed to denote where the seat pans need to be modified to fit mini tubs. Remember to be conservative here; you can always cut more, but adding material and making it look right is another completely new challenge.
The remaining piece, where it meets the modified panel, is then tapped down to meet with the other half of the section that was removed. They were then welded together.
