About me and my passion for cars

I started playing with cars in high school (1942) after the war I hung out at a hotdog stand named BRINSON'S in the town of tonawanda ny (1947) Had a 41 chry cpe customized it then boughrt a 35 ford rdst. channeled it put htd brakes, columbia rear end and customized it also. In (1948) built stock cars, ran with that till(1950) Then Icustomed a 46 merc. shaved the nose, trunk,put linc bendix brake all around,columbia rear hyd shocks.bored eng to 3.375, 3 2 carbs, heads, headers. I got married in(1953) IN (1956) sold 57 chevs (ugh), (1960) bought 60 falcon wagon. Open and ran a garage in !961 - 1986 during which put a 283 chev mtr and p/g tran in falcon and customed it, hood scoops one in one out,painted it with ditzler Sungleam blue and gold.since I retired built and own 69 fairlane, it has a 74 mustang nose for a grille, disc brakes, 351 windsor with a stick 4brl, c4 tran cstom int , ext paint, headers and the sweetest sound, I also own a shay rdst. which I rebuilt the frame, installed a 302 and a c4 and customed the body, Purple & pearl white with a tint of violet in it, int & top done in RTE.66 material of course pipes. Have many ideas but the body is giving out. BE HAPPY
