About me and my passion for cars
I first started driving when I was 16 back in 1962. My first car was a 1953 Belair chevrolet. In 1966 I was able to buy my first new car, which was a 1966 Pontiac GTO right off the Showroom floor. It was Light green with a darker Green top. It had a four speed with a 389 Motor. That's where my passion started for GTO's. I went to Vietnam in that same year and had to sell my car. When I got home from Vietnam I got married and started a family and their needs and wants came first. After re'marrying at the age of 53 I saw the dream was alive once again. My new Wife and I bought a 1968 Cutless Convertible in 2006. We bought that to have to drive untill we could find a GTO we both loved. After looking for two years we found the 1969 we now own and show.

- It was great to meet you at the show in Tuscumbia on Saturday. Keep us posted on shows coming up in your area and we'll try to come over and visit. Don't forget the WC Handy show on July 19th in downtown Florence. Loved your GTO!
