About me and my passion for cars
Ever since I was crawling on my hands and knees playing with my Hot Wheels, I loved cars. I still have all my Hot Wheels and been thru a few real life Hot Wheels. I'd worked as a professional bodyman for 12 years. I tried to retire from bodywork so I built school busses for 8 years. They decided I wasn't needed any longer. They went out anyway. So I went back to bodywork. Did that in Ohio for 3 years before I moved to Minnesota. I got a job in a shop that restores cars and builds custom rods, too. That job came and went after 5 years. Now I'm working at a shop that works on big rigs and sometimes regular cars. It's a job, what can I say? It's all I know, so I just keep doing it. Eventually I'm going to open my own shop, the shop I should've had in '91!
My first car
My Dad's wore out '73 Vega with190,000 miles!
Car I wish I still had
'74 Chevelle I had thru High School and a few years beyond, Or maybe my '87 S-10 that I bought for myself as a birthday present when I turned 25. I put my 350 from my Chevelle in it and had a blast! Never should've sold it!
My dream car
One that doesn't break down or wear out.
Car clubs I’m in
It's now defunct, but my friend Tim and I started a mini-truck club called "Distinguished Miniz"
- Driving song: any classic rock
- Car movie: "Smokey And The Bandit"
- Car game: does bumper tag count?
