About me and my passion for cars
My first love of Transam's undoubtedly came about with the infectious disease called Smokey & The Bandit. I am now up to about 300 viewings, obviously hooked on Transam's. I looked for about 3 years for a 78 Bandit car but to no avail, genuine examples are few in Australia. I have always had a likeing for Tenth am's but I finally purchased my 79 T.A (silver) with all the trimmings. I'am the second aussie owner with this car being fully imported from the state's by the first owner also an australian who worked for American Playboy magazine (poor bugger). This Transam I'am proud to say has become a major trophy winning firebird from the land down under, as sweet 77 commented on a recent visit to your much beloved country, Transam's are loved all over the world & this one is certainly no exception.
I would also wish to extend our gratitude from myself & Foxy for your hospitality & friendship over The Dayton Nationals weekend absolutely second to none, Thankyou. Certainly something to look forward to for Transam freaks in the future.
My first car
A Ford product, so I shall refrain from further comment. Long live GM
Car I wish I still had
My 1975 HJ series panel van, indeed just another project that just got out of hand as they do. Plenty of power on tap & murals to the max & also had its share of show & shines in all areas be it The Street Machine scene or The Australian Vanning scene which is very sad to say is now just a memory but a good one.
My dream car
Money to burn, what a thought I still love my Transam's so into an immacutely presented show stopping 77, 78 or Tenth Am topped of with a couple of nicely done SD 455 (super duty's) should fill the garage up. (I wish) Dreams wev'e all got them.
