Cars Profile

About me and my passion for cars

I got the car bug early, I had two older cousins who had really fast cars all their lives. one had a 63 hemi Fury, then a 66 hemi Charger. His brother started with a 64 396 Chevelle, then a 71 Orbit Orange Judge with that picnic table spoiler! After the oil crunch of 72 their father suggested I get a VW - Hah! I told him if I couldn't afford the gas i would rather sit in my TA than drive a bug! That passion lay dormant (still had the TA thru a marriage , birth of my son & the big D.) until my son reached his 17th birthday and urged me to start a collection of Birds. That was all the impetus I needed. I acquired a wrecked 85 TA from an ex girlfriend, got a traded in rare 92 5 speed Convertible TA, a 69 Firebird (since cloned) purchased from a lady in Ar (long story) and finally at the behest of my son yet again bought the baddest of the flock my 2000 Black WS6 ta. All 5 are resting comfortably waiting on my getting the urge get out and fly!

My first car

I drove whatever was in my folks driveway until I turned 21 and purchased my first car was my 1975 Pontiac Trans Am( which I will be driving on the Bandit Run)

Car I wish I still had

I' ve kept all the ones I have wanted to keep. (69 TA clone, 75 TA, 85TA, 92 TA convertible & a 2000 TA ws6
