About me and my passion for cars

My father designed and builtengines for Formula One, so as a little girl I was often in the pits or watching the races, but I didn't have an interest in cars until I met my husband who owned a Triumph Convertible and we used to go to the Triumph Owners club shows. I brought a 1959 Austin A35 and since then I have loved classic cars.

For a while I drove a 1974 Rover P6 fitted with a V8 engine...but needed something more suitable for town so brought a Mini. for the first monthor so I couldn't stop smiling...it is soooo much fun. You don't have to slow down and 'everyone' is suprised when I show them a clean pair of heals. I own two, a 1989 limited edition Mini Sky and a lovely red 1986 Mayfair.
