MY WAGON

By sixtywagon

Aug 1st
Well, I've been driving the wagon as a daily driver for about a month now. Its a little hard on fuel, but the smiles and thumbs up I get make it worth it. Because its so low, it scrapes and I have to drive pretty defensively over the bumps, but like I said, Its FUN....

Due to my lack of paying attention (didn't register or insure it) I've sold it, to help pay my fines....LOL Sold it right out of the impound yard for $500, and they paid the towing and storage.... NICE!!! Now to pay mine fines and get my D/L back (it expired on my B-day, Last Year) What a Hassle...

ITS MINE!!!!

Well, it was -17 here in Calgary. But Steve and I decided to head to Banff and get the car. Wow, It was +4 in Banff, beautiful.... Loaded the car, No Problems and motored back to Calgary. Trip back was uneventful, but I kept looking out the back window to check out my "NEW RIDE!" Can't wait to actually use it as a daily driver.
Its a standard, I thought it was a 2 speed(don't matter), and does it run nice. Needs a bit of bodywork, and some paint....Steve is already trying to sell me the parts I need(LOL) Thanks Steve, I have to save a bit of money now...
DAMN I like that car..... Thanks Steve, for setting me up to buy it, and for the Trailering job to get her home....

Well its -27 outside.....HMMMM, should I go out and go for a cruise in the wagon? Yeah, Right....I think I'll hibernate like a bear for the weekend. Although tommorrow is supposed to be +3, and I'm going to Banff to (hopefully) purchase, the '60 Biscayne and bring it home. I hope the weatherman is right and it does warm up, Otherwise it'll be a fairly cold trip. Gonna trailer it home, because word has it, it really doesn't like the cold either....

No I didn't try to start the Wagon, but I did look out the window to look at the frozen carcass of a 1960 Pontiac....This is what it looked like.... I really need to get a place with a garage....
