Affordable, Fun to Drive and Packed With Character

If you have built custom trucks or hot rods for any length of time, you are undoubtedly beginning to realize that those that are the most fun to own are also those that you can drive, hard. A truck you can lean against, scratches and nicks, and toss stuff in the bed without a blanket have proven to be those where you can find maximum enjoyment behind the wheel.

Shop trucks, or trucks built with the shop truck look, have become increasingly popular in the past few years. You can get all of the camshaft-rumbling, exhaust-thumping, gear-banging good times out of a weathered finish and faded chrome that you can out of a perfectly gapped, painted and polished show truck, for a fraction of the build bill. The other cool element about building a shop truck is that you can use it. All the paranoia of marring perfect paint or pitting mirror-finished chrome goes right out the window with this build style, and you end up with a truck that produces miles of worry-free, flat-footed fun. Wave goodbye to hours of cleaning and detailing and start enjoying your custom truck for what it was built for, driving!
