i bought this bike about 2 years ago. i had waunted to own this bike since the introduction in 1993, so i have been waiting 14 years to own 1. well i bought this bike off of e-bay it was in Indiana and was down from some guy running from the police, he made it 5 counties until he went down. so i purchased it from an inpound yard that had it sitting for years in their yard, the front end was pretty much gone no upper fairing front fender forks were bent and leaking the brakes did not work the radiator was destroyed with the fan and much of the fairings were scraped or cracked. it had no directionals(they were broken) the main power wiring was cut in half no battery and bike would not run (WISH I KNEW ALL OF THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT IT). so when i took possesion of this bike in Mass. fron Indiana i was totally beside myself. i was told that it neede a few things which i bought before i took possesion of it(never again). Needless to say i would not be riding this bike any time soon, so i bought an identical bike from FL in mint condition. that was shipped to Mass. and i was pleasantly surprised it was beautiful and ran perfect, but now i was stuck w/2 bikes and my wife did not know. so i hid the downed bike in my garage for just over a year without her knowing but when she found out WHOLEY SH@T she was more than a little pissed off. so over the past 2 years i have slowly rebuilt the bike and have just resently finished and i have to say it came out pretty sweet.
now i will sell it to make room in my garage for my stang.
