Mary and I really looked at a lot of Prowlers before buying this one. It is a 2002 with only 2,946 miles on it. It is Inca Gold in color with the gray leather interior.

We purchased this car Feb. 05,2008. This is one of only 613 Inca Gold Prowlers ever built, of which 583 were sold in the United States. These cars retailed for well over $45,000 and have held their value pretty well. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler is the open, Indy-racer-style front wheels. The design of the Prowler was said to have been inspired after Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type vehicle. The Prowler is a rear-wheel drive vehicle which prominently features aluminum in its construction, chiefly in the chassis. The car was hand assembled beside the fabled Dodge Viper at Chrysler’s Conner Avenue Plant.

Specs

This Prowler features a powerful 253 hp 3.5 L SOHC V6 engine coupled to a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission is located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a flexible driveshaft that rotates at engine speed; this arrangement is similar to the one used by the C5 Corvette and Alfa Romeo 75, and helps it facilitate a desirable 50-50 (percentage, front-rear) weight distribution.
