1966 Chevrolet Bel Air standard factory

About
My Dad bought the car new in 1966 for $2700.00. When he died, I took it over, because my Mom did not drive. Today, it only has about 43,000 miles, because Dad walked to work and I've always taken public transportation to work also.
I use it for getting around my neighborhood, driven in our parish Homecoming parades, get a lot of looks and people stopping to talk when they see it. Everything is original except new gas tank a few years ago. No power steering, brakes or a/c, just automatic transmission. It does have the big 6 cylinder motor. My mechanic loves to work on it, because there's a lot of room under the hood to move around.
Don't have a photo to put up because I don't have digital camera or scanner, but it looks just like the Blue Bel Air posted on Big Joe's garage site. It's the exact same color, two door sedan, but the picture under his hood does not look like mine.
I love my Chevy and will keep on driving it as long as I can.
There's nothing like good old Detroit steel.
