About

Bought in 2000 off car lot in Tucker, GA. Local Atlanta car in good condition. Son drove to high school until graduating in 2003. Wrecked once. Put front clip back on car and another engine was installed. Very good, reliable car. Has been driven all over eastern 1/2 of USA. The car was driven on the first two Bandit Runs! "Blue", the '78 made the 2009 run. Haven't decided which car to drive on the 2010 run yet but likely will be this red one since it has T-Tops for the Beaches!!

Specs

WS6, 403 CI Olds, Auto, Fisher T-Tops, Mayan Red with Black interior. 2.73 rear gears runs outstanding on a cruise and gets near 20 mpg!

Factory Options

Most Favoritely a AM-FM-8-TRACK-CB RADIO. Crank Windows, tilt wheel, rear window defroster, T-Tops. Rare options and not a lot of them!

Mods

Original engine in garage. Replacement engine out of another TA from salvage car. Only real mods have been to run true 'dual' exhaust with dual cats. Changed the snow flake 8" wheels (still have them) for Turbo Style 15 x 8's. Running 295/50-15s. Car handles really well with the wider, lower profile tires.

Blog post photo

The only tank of fuel I can recall checking was the one where the Group was allowed to run Bristol Motor Speedway. The Little Red TA got 15.78 mpg but included 20-25 laps...
