About
I purchased this 51 Chevy about 3 years ago off Ebay in Colorado, and have been working on it ever since. Always liked the looks of the sedan deliveries, but wanted something different from the usual 55-57 Chevy's that you see so many of.
I like the rounded body style more, and you don't see any of them driving around here, and I like being different from the crowd.
Specs
1951 Chevrolet Styline Model 1508 Sedan Delivery
350 ci Chevy with edelbrock high rise manifold and 4 barrel. Stock internally.
350 turbo, (plan to upgrade to a 200 or 700R)
Mods
So far, car was stripped to bare metal, new sheetmetal welded in, shaved handles, 48 chevy tail lights, frenched into the fenders, Auto Loc door selenoids on all three doors, Inalfa electric sunroof, tilt steering from 77 chevy pickup, Chrysler 300 8 way power seats, ECI front disc brake conversion, power brakes, will have Southern Air heat and AC, has new wiring by EZ wire, as well as power windows, and 5" TPI Tech instruments mounted in the original housings.
Car was painted Dark metallic copper on the roof and Sunburst metallic orange on the bottom.
