- Sweet Galaxie. My dad had a '62 Galaxie 500 XL. It was chestnut with a white top. Now he wishes he never got rid of it. A trophy worthy car. Good luck with it!

Found this car in Winona Kansas(not even on the Kansas map).It had Washington plates when I found it. It has an all original 292 y block motor with a Fordomatic 2-speed transmission. This car has been well taken care of over it's 45+ year life.Came out of the Dallas Texas Plant. Now this car is back in Texas where it belongs!
