This T/A is still in the factory state,nothing has been modified.
She was built at the Pontiac Van Nuys plant on 02/27/1979
And was shipped to Shepheard Pontiac in Concord CA.where she was sold with 10.8 miles on her on 03/03/1979.She was special ordered in gold.Gold was a special order only in 1979.Her first owner kept her untill 1987,He sold her to his friend who was also a friend of mine.Mr.Frankie loved his T/A he kept her in like new condition and drove her to car shows and on weekends,out for a spin.Untill MR.Frankie found out from his DR.he had cancer,That was about three years ago,She sat coverded up in the garage only getting cranked every month or so,never driven any more.About seven months ago MR.Frankie passed on and left his car to his boys,But they all were Ford guys and had their own race cars Etc.My brother in law knew my favorite car of all times is a T/A and he knew how well I keep up every thing I have,So he talked his wife into selling the car to me,which others had already tryed to make nice offers on her.With me close to the family I was able to get her and all of her papers,Build sheet,bill of sale,owners manual and all of repair history.I have to put a lot of work in her but she's worth it.You would never guess she has 97,000 miles on her she looks real clean and runs great.I will start to restore her some time in the next two years,For she has just a little rust coming up on the bottom of her fenders and rockers.Oh the A/C and factory 8 track still work.
