Again, owned by Jim Wangers. This is a Pontiac powered Monte Carlo, named the Ponte Carlo. Jim built this car back in the late 80s when enthusiasts were picking up old GTOs with blown engines and replacing the Pontiac engine with cheap chebby engines.

Turn about is fair play. Jim put a potent Pontiac under the hood, thus the name Ponte Carlo and went street racing to knock off a few of those chebby powered GTOs.

Specs

Powered by a 467 Pontiac engine with Edelbrock heads and Victor intake. On the motor the car has gone a quick of 10.02 and with a squezze of NOS it has gone 8.97 at 149 MPH.

The car retains its original suspension front and rear with an anti-sway torsion bar added in the rear.
