Love the sleeper look of these Coronets. My friend had a 70 Charger in the same dark metallic green. It shines up real nice.

About

a 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 Model. This is a solid running car. The original color of this car was a light metallic green with a white vinyl top. It is now a dark metallic green with a light metallic green non-vinyl top. The glass is in great shape, and I had a limo tint put on. The interior is new and all original by Legendary Interiors. The only modification I did was to ad a original oem working tachometer to the instrument panel. All the gauges have been rebuilt and calibrated by Year One. I have the original radio, but not in the car. The dash is original but has cracks. This car did come with air conditioning. I still have the canister and hoses and radiator but not the pump. An after market unit would fit in this car nice. The wiring in this car is awesome. No problems at all. Everything works. Now for the mechanicals. This car was a grandma/grandpa cruiser. When I bought it, I upgraded the undercarriage. I changed the non sway bar lower control arms to original 69 control arms to add a stock sway bar. I have after market oversize torquesion bars that make this ride awesome. I changed the rear leaf springs to original 1969 Hemi leaf springs. I changed the 8 1/4 rearend to a 8 3/4 limited slip 3:23 gear ratio. I changed the small manual brakes to a power brake system with 11" x 3" drums in the rear, and 11" disc in the front, with a dual diaphragm brake canister and a proportioning valve. I put a new gas tank with a rubber divider and straps and sending unit. The under carriage still has the original undercoat which has not been painted. The Coronet still has the original 318 motor in it and it runs great. I changed the 904 transmission to a 727 with a semi shift kit system. At normal excelleration the trans shifts very awesome, but if you were to get on it, then you will get that fast shift in second and third. I finished the power train with a set of 4 15" BF Goodrich tires mounted on Craiger SS rims. The spare is an original 1969 15" tire and rim. Now, I had all the metal on the body repaired, not replaced except for the drivers door. There is also a couple of very small dings on the left front top fender, and right next to it on the hood. There is a bubble that started on the passengers side rear drip rail. There was also some bubbling on both sides of the kick rails just in front of the rear tires. Those were fixed and primed. The paint job was done back in 96 by a local shop. This paint job will make for a perfect base coat for that "NEW" paint job. I installed a passenger outside mirror. My neck was killing me.. This Coronet is in really great shape, and has been a project car, and a daily driver, just needs the TLC to finish her.
