I just purchased this 2008 Corvette on 5/31/2008. I got it used with 11k miles on it and saved over $15,000, if I had bought it with no miles on it. The LS3 motor (new for 2008) is incredible! This Jetstream Blue C6 is fully loaded with the Z51 performance package, 6 speed automatic with paddle shifter, Navigation, Z06 style Exhaust, Both tops, and more. This is the best and fastest factory Corvette I have driven so far.
Specs
The aluminum-block power plant produces an SAE-certified 436 hp @ 5900 rpm and 428 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4600 rpm due to the dual-mode exhaust system it is equipped with. The LS3 6.2L engine achieves a remarkable EPA estimated MPG 16 city, 26 highway. Even with its impressive performance, the engine does not incur a federal government gas-guzzler penalty.
The Six-Speed Paddle Shift with Automatic Modes offers total driver involvement with an automatic transmission. In the "S" mode, steering wheel controls allow you to upshift or downshift whenever you want for maximum performance — without ever taking your hands off the wheel. Both the "S" or "D" modes allow normal automatic operation without using the paddles. The "S" mode offers a more sporting shift pattern with firmer shift calibrations. NEW for 2008: Paddle Shift response time is even quicker.
