- 57 is my favorite year for all American cars, especially Fords. Chevy, Plymouth, Caddy, Buick, Olds.... They were all beautiful in 57,

- I like this Ranchero! I had a 57 Ford sedan for my first car. Wish I had it back!

About
We bought this car from the original owner in Ottawa KS in 1993. It was all original and stock with 112,000 original miles.
We slowly rebuilt it between 1993 and 2005. We now do 30+ car show per year.
It got the "El Rancho" nickname because a clueless relative called it that not knowing the difference between a Ranchero and El Camino.
Specs
Stock Original 292 Y block, with 3 speed overdrive column shift transmission, Original stock, differential and stock non-power drum brakes. No power steering.
Mods
Acrylic tonneau cover which fits within the bed so as not to cover the chrome trim. I put lift struts on the sub bed where the spare is.
