I dont have a clue what I own. I just know that it is Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon 1979 its written on a pinkslip ( in estonia greenslip :)) engine has been canged, original was a diesel engine.
My father bought this car 15 years ago, from finland. (its located in estonia right now ,so... very far away from its original home) He drove it for a few years and when the transmission broke he abandoned it.
So...
I wrote because i want to restore the car, but I dont know nothing about it . Seems like it has never existed, there´s no information in internet, only few owners has wrote about this.

I think this is an ugly car,so ugly that its beautiful. I have really good memories related to this car.
Olds was the first foreign car in our family, before that, my father drove a russian moskvit? (IZ-21251 "The Bucket" Kombi)
...after the soviet union collapsed and estonia become republic(1991), people had a chance to buy foreign cars.
I cant describe the feeling that I had when the car accelerated, it was soooo.... different from russian cars that...Then it looked so cool, but now it´s just a chunk of metal on the field behind barn .
All I need is little info ...

And where can I buy a transmission for olds.
