I saw the car at a car lot next to Autozone. I went and looked at it, and fell in love with what I saw, yes it needed a lot of work, but I had to have this car. I asked the owner how much he wanted it for, he said $3,800, so I asked him if he would make a payment plan, and that he would keep the car until I have paid it off. He said no, so right after I went to the bank to see about getting a loan for the car, that took about 3 days. I was approved for the loan, got the check and took it to the owner, when I got there before I told him I got a loan, he said he would make a payment plan, I was a bit aggravated, but I told him I got a loan. He gladly signed the title over and the car was mine! I was so happy, I took it to my work place and showed every one my new car, every one liked it. I took it home, and my mom dad and sister liked it, but my boyfriend was pissed, but I think that's because my car is better looking than his, and because I didn't tell him or anyone else I was getting the car. But here I am now with one of my dream cars. One day I hope to get a '63 Split Window Corvette. When I brought the car home, it was backfiring, shooting flames out of the carburetor, and flooding out. I figured out that the carb was too big for the motor, so i traded someone for a smaller carb. Now she runs great, needless to say its not the fastest thing on the road but she sure aint slow. Although my boyfriend was mad, I couldn't have fixed up the car with out him.

Specs

The only thing right now that I know of about the car right now is that the motor is a 305, the transmission is a TH350, and it has a posi-trac rear end with the stock 2.43 gears (almost positive that's what they are).

Factory Options

My car is a 1978 Camaro Type Lt. It has power steering, but no power locks or windows, and no A/C, also has front and rear defrost. The spoiler came stock as well.

Mods

The car has a Lunati Cam, Flow master Dual exhaust, not sure what brand the headers are, Weiand intake, Edelbrock 600CFM carb, American Eagle Alloys 211 series rims, Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring's and GTS tires. Pioneer radio, SPL 6x9 speakers, MA Audio Sub, Urban Audio works amp for the sub and a Dominator amp for the 6x9's.
