About
It's my first car. My dad gave it to me when I turned 16 thinking that it would probably get me through high school but that was about it. Not only did it last through high school, it also got me through my first three years of college. At 270,000+ miles, though, it finally gave up. I was left with three options: rebuild the original 307 that was in it, overhaul an older Olds 350 that we had on the yard, or drop a late model fuel injected engine/transmission in it. I opted for number three and stuffed an LT1/4L60E combo between the frame rails. It has continued in this configuration since 2003 and has done very well.
