About
It was bought new in 10/97, and meticulously cared for ever since. I've done a numerous amount of modifications to it, and it is a never-ending money pit. Its been through a minor fender bender, hail storm, and a blown engine, but shes still looking better than ever!
Specs
It sports Ford's biggest V6, the 4.2L SPI (256 ci). Mated to a stick shift 5-speed M5OD, with a 3.55 final gear drive non-LS differential. Stock horsepower is 210 (flywheel) at 220 lb-torque, but actual rear-wheel is 175 hp at 200 lb-ft. I've added a K&N Series-77 cold air intake and plan on adding a tuner and e-fans later on.
Factory Options
It came as a base-model, no-frills package, but I did an XLT "swap" on it. I added the 3rd brakelight w/ cargo light, chrome towing mirrors, fog lights, and plan on swapping out my 60/40 split vinyl bench seat for Lariat captains chairs. I sould add that my engine came with an aluminum intake manifold vs. the other 4.2Ls came with a plastic one.
Mods
Engine is pretty much stock. I have a aftermarket K&N Seres-77 chrome cold air intake. I have HIDs with a modified front end including a billet grille, LED taillights, and red/blue strobes for POV response.
