hey man, you say your car weighs about 2500lbs. I dont see any weight reductions though. and stock, that car weighs almost 3400 lbs dryweight. thats 900lbs differnce. whats your trick?

About

it is my fist car and i plan on keeping it for a long time i am going to re-do the interior and some exterior parts. i am at the moment putting a 350 4 bolt main out of a truck into it with a 350 turbo tranny and i am painting it next year if everything goes to plan. the motor was re-built by me, my cousin, and dad.i have put approx. $ 2500.00 or more in the car.my car is now running for the first time since december after i get a couple more parts it will be completely done and on the road again!!!! i will have more pics and videos very soon. if you have any questions just ask.

Specs

-the engine is an 1980-85 350 4 bolt main out of a truck.

-350 turbo transmission.

- 2 1/2 " straight pipes

-4 brl. carb.

-weights about 2500 lbs.

-it has somewhere around 300 hp.

when my car is completely ready and im driving it again im going tot ake it to the drag strip close to my house to see what it runs in a 1/4 mile.

Factory Options

-A/C and heat

-ERS(extended range sound system)

-power steering

-power brakes

-blue neon lights

-a sony explode cd player with an amp and 2 sub woffers.

-ac has been removed for more room

-it has a new cam in it (but not sure what kid was installed before i bought the motor.)

-lots of chrome, and more to come

-1980-85 350 small block 4 bolt main out of a truck

-chrome valve pan covers

-re-did all gaskets for the motor

-arp head bolts

-high performance HEI distributor

-moroso high heat blue spark plug wires (8 mm)

-2 electric fans

-4 barrel carb.-quadrajet...for now

-i painted the block gloss black

-chrome timeing chain cover

-thrush mufflers

-aftermarket gauges

..will be more mods when i get more money
