About
I bought this car in Tiburon CA in 1987 while looking for a '69 Camaro. The car was Black on Black with Orange and Vedoro Green paint under that! The car moved with me to Chicago and then to Atlanta.(Originally a 350 motor with Black top and Pearl Parchment interior and a manual top) This car was sold new in Florida and I traced it back to Southern Ca. to the early 1980's. It still has a sticker on the window that says LBPOA #1107. Could this be Long Beach Police Officers Assoc? I would like to find the original owner.
Factory Options
Originally a 350 2 BBL motor with black convertible top and Pearl Parchment Custom interior. Vedoro Green exterior.
Mods
Added 68 Pontiac GTO Rally wheels in 1988 in San Jose
CA. Rebuilt the suspension with new springs, and polygraphite bushings in 1998.
I recently swapped in a '70 GTO 400 motor with several mods. including a strong cam, long branch manifolds, Keith Black pistons, 2300 RPM stall converter, 2 1/2 exhausts and 1972 GTO heads so I can run 93 Octane. (Built under direction of TA Central in Cumming, GA - Thanks Bill!)
Car was restored in 1995 in Norcross, GA. (1995 Corvette Torch Red paint.) Still has original interior (dyed black).
