This 4x4 came to be mine and my dad's after I helped him load up his original #'s matching 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500 aucopulco blue w/ white racing stripes 429CJ had a rear window louver black interior wood trim. Man that car was wicked awesome and fast. Daddy needed $$$$ and she cost to much for us to up keep at the time with the land bank, cattle, horses, bills and me with my two sister's asking dad to take us to western warehous-bootbarn and the feed store all the time besides us showing a lot with the horses. So, a friend up in Auberry-Prather area told him he would pay cash and he had a 1971 Mach 1 with a 429 CJ automatic.
Dad had me load her up, took her up there and I cried the whole way up until I saw "Bella Norte" my nickname for him. We brought the 1971 Mach 1, 1966 Ford Fairlane sport 289, 1986 Ford 250 4x4-Beast and a car trailer home.
It really is a an awesome 4x4 to drive at home and when it is in 4WD crawling up an incline it is like a train just keeps chugging up it, it doesn't get stuck or lugg around.

Factory Options

tan exw/beige interior, standard cab, long bed, power steering, no A/C, stock tape player, 2gas tanks-only one is used so far.

Mods

new carbuetor, new plugs, new radiator, new tires-same wheels though, new bench seat and seat cover. Soon to be new exhaust, fuel filler hose, windshield, roll bar, push bar w/grill guard, better pic coming too.
