About
Purchased stock from original owner in 2000 when it had approx. 36K miles. It was well maintained. It gradually went from an every day car at over 100K miles to a hobby car. Then it all began with small aftermarket engine add-ons. Then it blossomed into a full scale revamping of the suspension and drive train. Next mod will be new metal flake paint job with possible ralley strpes with some artwork. But, I will have to play that by ear and the pocket book.
Specs
4.6 stroker that is now 302 engine with a Vortech supercharger, assembled by Hawaii Racing, Simi Valley, CA. High performance automatic tramsmission with shift kit & 2800 rpm stall converter. 3.75 rear end. Ford Racing porcelain "shorty" headers. Running close to 400hp. Chrome UPR valve covers as well as other chrome dress-up items. Also included blue anodized hose connectors.
Mods
Maximum Motorsports lowering kit with front coilovers and adjustable lower control arms w/ Bilstein shocks. Added sub-frame connectors and rear end snubbers for handling and road performance. Running 3 inch UPR X-pipe with high flow cats with magniflow mufflers and 2 1/2 degree expansion chrome tips with 45 degree cut. Tires are Protenza 245/45/17, but I am changing the rear tires to 275's shortly. Installed clear "Angel Eye" headlights and "Reverse Glow" white instrument gauges. Also installed dual pillar with B & M blackout pods for boost and fuek pressure. Car is maintained by "Team Extreme" at Extreme Automotive located in Canoga Park, CA.
