I've always like the timeless styling and grand touring sensibilities of the first generation XK8/XKR and thanks to Jaguar's notorious depreciation, they finally came into my price range. I searched for months to find one I wanted (prefer an XKR but accept an XK8, it had to be black or british racing green, had to have cashmere leather, had to be in great shape, ideally a coupe but I'd take a convertible) I drove about 250 miles to finally drive one...that turned out to be a dud. I had all but given up hope and expanded my search even farther...when this one popped up about 30 miles from my house. The information posted on the internet was incorrect and there were no pictures, but I had to take a look. Once I saw her, I knew she was the one. Perfect condition, acceptable price, and optioned exactly as I wanted (loaded except navigation and that stupid phone)
