- That big ol' thing is a FIND! Looks like the years in storage didn't do it any harm. The paint looks solid and the chrome still sparkles. It's gonna be the most looked-at rig at any campground you take it to.
(As for the bulbous rear end, wasn't there a song about that a few years ago: "I like big butts and I can't lie..."

About
Remarkable aquisition of an iconic classic Art Deco bus from the American heritage of 1948! This bus was originally purchased as a motorhome for a Polka Band and was never in passenger service. Catch that bulbous rear end!!!!
Specs
Originally powered by a Buick Straight Eight with a three speed manual transmission, later changed to a Chrysler Hemi in the 1960's, then a Cadillac V8 in the early 1970's, and most recently (in 1978) to a Chevrolet 350 with a powerglide automatic tranmission.
Mods
I just got it fired up after a twenty year slumber, and I just drove it home to my shop, a maiden voyage of only 28 miles, but it was an adventure, and theKosher Polka Dill Pickle performed beautifully. Can't wait to get going on this project!
