About

Here is what I know on the car; It was in Kenvil, NJ for a while. It was sitting in the a fellows yard and the fellow I bought it from picked it up. He could not get it to run and sold it to me. My intent was to fix it and sell it to fund one of my other T/A's. I fixed the starter and did a service job on the car and made it road worthy. I did some other things but don't recall. maybe I did the brakes? I dunno, that was 10 T/A's ago for me. the exhaust was rusty in the rear over the axles. I drove it a little but not much. It did have an issue with the carb that once warmed up, went away. The engine was very smooth and quiet. It was thought to be a reman from jasper but I have no info other than word of mouth. In 2003 I sold it to a fellow not far from me in Hackettstown who was going to rebuild the car. It seems his plans fell through and in about 2 yrs was on a road by his townhouse for sale. Last year a friend that works in Boonton told me about a T/A by his shop. I went to look at it and it happened to be this car in about the same condition that I sold it. It was on a bend before the Canal House in some guys driveway that seemed to be for a house and a body shop. Now you have it. So you would be at least the 6th actual owner of the car. Not sure if the titles has been changed through the owners. I never changed it. I hope you intend to use it as it seems to keep on fighting to stay alive.
This was told to me by a previous owner who recognized the car on another forum.
