1979 Chevrolet Camaro Base (Carmine)

For Sale

I am the second owner of a 1979 with 24,000 miles. Yes, 24,000. Some dude traded it in at a local dealership my buddy wrenches at on a Friday night and I bought it Sat. I bought it with the intention of making my dream car, but, as it turns out, my dreams are too expensive! My next move was going to be suspension and wheels before moving on to a better power plant. It's really impressive how clean and rust free this car is. Seriously, rust free. No rusted out quarter panels or bottoms of doors. It's pretty much as original as they come, with the exception of some basic mods I did to the car (not so much the engine) in preparation for the 400 I was planning on putting in it.
It's a 305 car with a turbo 350 that has the B&M shifter kit I installed. I also installed a B&M trans cooler. It has full length headers into a full cat-less H pipe Flowmaster system with 40 series mufflers. I changed it from a two barrel to a Holley 650 double pumper (mechanical secondaries). The intake is a Holley Street Dominator with an Edelbrock Performer Plus cam under it. (How could I change the intake and not the cam!) The head was shaved to get the compression up a bit. I'm guessing it's around 9.5:1. Old Mickey Thompson valve covers and a Holley air cleaner finish it off ok. I also installed Competition Engineering bolt on sub frame connectors and an Auburn posi carrier with Richmond 3.42 gears. Like I said, most everything I did was for the car, not the engine. And I kept ALL the old parts. Even the cam. I'm looking to get 7500 or best offer. I'm very negotiable and trades of anything cool will gladly be considered. PM me if anyone has any interest.
