1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS
“Jafar”

About
This was my first Thirdgen Camaro. Before this car I didn't care about cars, other than to get me from point A to point B. The car opened my eyes to the car world and to that of the V8 Detroit muscle cars. Regretfully I owned this car before digital cameras were popular (and CHEAP!) so this is the only surviving photo of this car.
Mods
Engine:
None, except for the K & N air filter, TBI spacer and homemade ram air setup, Hypertech 160 t-stat and low temp fan switch.
Drive-train:
Stock 700R4, no mods. Richmond 3.73 gears installed with limited slip.
Exhaust:
Custom 2.5" cat back system to a 80 series Flowmaster muffler, with dual 3.5" chrome tips.
Computer:
Custom programmed Hypertech chip. Used same program as Police Camaros, basically got rid of computer controlled governor and increased the air/fuel mixture for better performance.
Wheels:
American Racing 5 star rims (not pictured, before the time of digital camera, and this is the only surviving photo), 15x8, with BF Goodrich Euro T/A 245/50/15 tires.
Appearance:
Blacked out marker lights on both front fenders, Wade black out covers on the front, and GTS Blackouts on the rear.
