Lucky me, I got grandma's car for my first car in high school. It was baby blue with baby blue interior and I HATED it! But then it kinda of grew on me, to the tune of a new paint job, rebuilt engine and tranny and stereo system.

Then I was totally pathetic and fell in love with it. But, all good things come to an end. I sold it in 2002 for something a little more, shall we say, fuel effecient.

Specs

350 ci Buick V8, stock 4 barrel carb, 3-speed transmission. Standard GM fare.

Factory Options

Power drivers seat. AC. Cruise control. Um. Stereo sound system. Landeau (sic) Roof.

Mods

A crappy Jensen radio tape player, and 6x9 speakers. And two 15" Pioneer subs in the back along with a 12 disc CD changer. Repainted Medium Saphire Blue metallic, and the landeau roof was dyed black.

The paint job was actually done by my mom, of all people. She's surprisingly handy with cars. And my dad assisted me in tearing down and reassembling the engine when it was rebuilt. I provided elbow grease and some crappy body work I covered up with chrome panels.
