About

1981 DeLorean DMC-12 dressed up as the Back To The Future Time Machine replica.
A dream of mine since I was a little kid ... I quote George McFly "If you put your mind to it ... you can accomplish anything!"

Although the car is not 100% complete, the conversion is coming along.

Factory Options
Leather
Power Windows
Power Locks
These suckers didn't have very many options from the factory. Black or Grey interior, 5-speed or auto .... that was it.

Over the 3 year production period there were only MINOR changes ... namely the hood of the car ... early 1981 has Hood lines and a seperate gas flap.. the gas flap was later removed due to problems in the dye pressing of the stainless. In 1982 and 1983 the hood lines dissappeared for the same reason.

Mods
Flux Capacitor ;) amongst other things.
The Time Machine conversion of this car is not complete, but definately down the road. Its the 1985 Doc Brown time machine with a twist. Recently aquired and yet to be installed is a 15" touch screen LCD monitor to take the place of the time circuits. This new spin gives some future flavour to the time machine controlling engine monitors, window motors, door locks, GPS, MP3, and yes, even the BTTF Trilogy DVD playing on the computer neatly tucked underneath the Flux Capacitor.
