About
Please visit my website: www.smokeyandthebanditmodels.com. This is a 1977 Special Edition Trans Am. I am the second owner. The first owner bought it at Bud Beck's Pontiac (Arizona) in March of 1977. The car spent it's entire life (25 years) in Arizona, so it was rust free. She(the owner) was 40 years old then and sold the car to me when she was 65!! The car has never been wrecked or abused. It was all original with 109K doctumented miles when it rolled off the transport. Yes, I bought it, site unseen. All the rubber was dry rotted and the paint was very faded from the sun. The car ran great and I took it out for 2 hours without checking under the hood first. I have completely restored it now.
Specs
The car was ordered with every option, but a rear window defogger. It is an all numbers matching car. Pontiac 400, 4-barrel, auto with cloth interior. It is a documented SE or Special Edition with Hurst T-tops.
Mods
I did install dual exhaust.
