About
This car is one of 4212 Super Coupes produced in 1992, of which 2956 were automatic transmissions.
I bought this car in nearly stock form in 2003. It was a little rough, appearing to have been taken on an off-road adventure which left the front bumper cover damaged. It also showed signs of wear with paint flaking and numerous door dings. I have since tried to remove all body damage, and modify both the appearance and performance of the car. There are, of course, more modifications to come for both. The cosmetics include the first ever made Cobra R hood with ram air for the '89-'93 Thunderbird. It also sports a Xenon Air Dam for a '94-'95 Thunderbird capped with motion sensors to protect the bumper cover from curb-stops, speed bumps, etc. It was featured in stock form in the 2005 Super Coupe Performance (SCP) MN12 calendar as the January car. It has again been selected for the month of September 2007 SCP calendar.
Specs
3.8 liter, supercharged V6
Factory rating are:
210 hp, 315 torque at the flywheel
After current modifications, power levels are now:
265 rwhp, 350 rwtq
That translates to roughly
350 hp and 465 torque at the flywheel.
Looking for more with a cam and a bigger and better supercharger...
