what a cool little car. that was a keeper. we had a guy bring one to the race track last year. it didn't do to well but it was fun to watch it go around the track.

Nice car, I tried to buy one new in 73 but could not raise the cash. I wanted an orange one and remember seeing it at Armstrong Buick and talking with the salesman about trading in my Hillman but they were not interested in my car. Oh well it is one of those fond memories.

About

This was my very first car. I got it as a sophomore in high school. After I graduated, my brother got the car. He fully modified and restored it, adding a front air damn, weber carb, swapping in a 4-speed manual, putting on nice wheels and giving it a sweet paint job. He sold it several years ago on ebay.

Photos coming soon, both before and after.

Specs

When I owned it:
1.9 L 4-cylinder, all stock
3-speed automatic

When my brother owned it:
1.9 L 4-cylinder with hot cam, weber carb, electronic ignition, header
4-speed manual transmission

Factory Options

Automatic transmission
AM/FM Radio

Mods

When I owned it (all done by previous owner):
Rear bodywork extended about 12"
Two-tone gold and copper paint job

When my brother owned it:
Front air dam
Custom front end treatment (bumper removed)
Blacked-out chrome
4-speed manual swapped in
Weber carb
Hot cam
Header
Electronic ignition
Nice ARE wheels
Eagle ST tires
Custom 4-outlet exhaust
