About
1870's Wooden Wagon Frame
This frame is fairly light and rolls easily. There is some dry rot in the wood on the axle and some cracks in the wheels, but overall is still solid and sturdy. The unit is mainly wooden, with metal rims still on the wheels and on the hubs with a metal re-inforcement on the axle.
When still a wagon it was once ox-drawn, as it has a single pole, later converted for horse-drawn. It's has been stored undercover for many years near Paoli, Pennsylvania.
