About

**1/4 mile drive at Pacific Raceways shows my car is driving through it's converter - 123mph, 11.01 et, 7600 rpm. New converter goes in this week and out to Bremerton on the 13th. Trying to get it in the 10's where it wants to be!**

We finally got to run the car on the track! We ran 8th mile at Forks, WA West End Thunder drags on August 16 & 17th and it ran a 7.01 in the 8th (that would be appx high tens in the 1/4 mile)! That's through the mufflers, street legal tires, and it being exactly as I drive it to the shows and cruise around.

This car was home built by my husband for me partially to keep me out of his way in the "spousal avoidance center" (garage/shop/buddies - honey, why don't you go drive your car? LOL!) and partially to help keep my mind off my multiple sclerosis. Nothing like hearing the rumble of the motor and whine of the blower while driving on a nice sunny day to lift my spirits! He fabricated, painted or changed everything except the cage and tubbing - had a friend do that. We bought this car stock and tore it down to almost nothing to add the 4-link, narrowed rear-end, smooth firewall, new floor, fabricated dash, stretched quarters and cage.

Shown several times and getting ready to race it now. Over 30 wins in two years including 4 best of shows. My husband has his own car ('41 Willy's) - this one is my baby so I drive it to work and shows as well as just cruise it around for fun.

I was lucky enough to be in 6 magazines so far - Drive NW, Camaro World, Camaro Performers, Hot Rod, Street Thunder and Chevy High Performance.

Don't forget to check out the short burnout video!
