About

I bought this truck in '91 in stock condition. First thing to go was the 4 cylinder. The 350 and auto that I took out of my Monza that I ripped apart went in. That engine and trans came out of my Chevelle that I used to own. This truck got the name "Thunder-sTruck" with that motor in it. The movie "Days Of Thunder" was still fresh and AC/DC had a song "Thunder Struck" that just rocked like this thing! It started out black with the silver stripes on the sides, then I painted it red and made the IROC hood for it. I chopped up a new IROC hood and grafted it into the stock hood. I still called it the "Black Truck" because I bought the red Cameo S-10. After being red for a few years, it got updated with the Choo Choo Customs Wild-Side bed I had on my Cameo and did the yellow and red with the lightning bolt and nailed the "Thunder-sTruck" name to it.

Specs

4 bolt main truck block bored .030, steel crank, 10.5:1 compression, Edelbrock intake, 750 Holley, custom headers and dual exhaust, 3.73 posi rear, lowered with spindles in front and blocks in rear.

Factory Options

This was a bare bones stocker until I got hold of it, and I just wanted a fun little screamer!
