About
Bad news - (for me) - I've got to sell - never thought I would. I'll get some real pictures up. I've got to track some old ones down of when I had the engine, trans & gas tank pulled. Once I get the brakes hooked up I'll get some passes to post time slips.
I brought this car home about eleven years ago. When our jeep was in the shop, my wife would drop me off at work then take our son to daycare, then drive on to work. We used this car as a commuter, with this engine & trans combo, in Charlotte NC rushour traffic (I did swap in a highway gear). When my wife would pick me up in the evenings and idle into the parking lot at work, the idle would set off car alarms as she would pass. Every evening at least 5 car alarms would be going off.
And my wife would get some great looks at a red light in town with a 18month old in the car seat passenger side. (did not come with the optional rear belts).
1965 Plymouth Baracuda street/drag car - 340, 292 Mopar purple shaft cam, "J" heads. The pistons are stock so this set up could use some compression (but luckly I left it that way & have been able to pump 87 octane) Edelbrock 750, fenderwell headers to dual 3" exhaust exit under seat, 727 t-flight w/ revers manual shifter & 3,500 stall to a 8-3/4 rear with 4:11 suregrip, - still wears small bolt pattern rallyes. The body is in really good original condition.
