I bought this car for two hundred dollars. I am the 3rd owner of this car. It was orginally sold to an old couple in FL in 1978. When they where done with it they gave it to there son and he let his son drive it. When I bought it off of them in 2000 the kid had put 3 big dents in the passenger side door and fender. I put twelve hundred dollars into it to get it road worthy. I had to put in floor boards but the frame was in great shape. I drove the car for a year when I was putting in a new door hinge and got my hand cought and went to hit the a-piller and missed and took out the windsheild. So now it sits in my back yard being pulled apart for a total restoration. I miss driving her. But I will make due with my other Monte. I figure it will take me about 10 years to do the project. Oh yea by the way it took Best in class at MM04 and 2nd place in work in progress at the same show. And at th NJMCC BBQ it took Best Work in Progress award.

This car has tought some of the dumbest honda drivers in my area a lesson. That you do not mess with a Monte Carlo because you will get burned. 3 Victorys and 1 Loss due to loss of fuel pressure.aka"runing out of gas"
