About

This was my cousins car and he got it when he was 16 and when i turned 16 he gave it to me as a birthday present and i started working on it and eventually my dad said he found a 350 engine for it and so it only took a month for us to swap engine's out of it and transmisions, we put in it a 350 turbo auto transmision.

The 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Chevy's rear-drive personal-luxury car, dropped its base model and got slightly revised taillights.

Specs

IT had a 350, around 400 horsepower , its 0-60 was mid - Low 6'ssec, 1/4 was right about 15 sec, and i never was able to top it out i never really had the road for it!

Factory Options

Optional for the LS was the base 5.0-liter carbureted V-8 making 150 horsepower. It was tied to a four-speed automatic; this transmission was optional on the V-6.

AM/FM Radio
Tilt Steering
Tachometer
Cloth Seats
Bench Front/Back Seat

Mods

We had some nice wheels but they started to rust before we were able to start fixing them but my brother had to go and pop 2 tires at once i dont know how he did it but it totally ruined the 2 rims and we didn't have the money to replace them at the time and we had to use some junk wheels to replace and i hated them. It had Cragar SS on it but he recked them.
