This was my second car. I had moved on from my '87 Thunderbird and was looking for something a little more sporty. My dad picked this up cheap, and I didn't really want it until I drove it once. Boy, did I ever change my mind quick! I think some of my best teenage memories were had in my old silver Lincoln. I was seventeen, and I have to wonder how I didn't kill myself.

This car was equipped with a 5.0 H.O. engine like the ones in the Mustangs. I'm not joking when I say that it was extremely fast, and It handled like a dream. It was my first experience with leather seats, which, despite the scalded legs in the summer, I decided I loved. It had a THUMPING stereo system, which I blasted every chance I got. (The neighbors didn't like me very much. My mom joked that you could hear me coming a mile away.) It had a sunroof that I insisted on opening even when it was freezing out.... My theory was thats what the heater was for.

The only thind I didn't like about it was it had that airbag suspension, which is known to be problematic in these Lincolns. Every time I shut the car off, the back end would settle down over the tires within an hour.
