About
The car is a 1986 Monte SS, with a 1988 rear bumper and taillights. It has a 350 .30 bored over with a large comp cam bumpstick. Transmission is out of a Grand National, as is the driveshaft and rearend. Rearend is an 8.5 posi with 3.73 gears. I have NOS on the car, 150 shot, but hardly use it. True dual exhaust that dumps right behind the rear tires. Rear tires are M/T street radials, soft and grippy but don't last long!
Specs
No quarter mile times, haven't had time since I haven't been around in the states, but aftermarket steering wheel, B&M Mega shifter, trunk mat, JBL sub and 900 watt amp in the trunk, as well as a new pioneer faceplate. Aftermarket hood for lighter weight, as well as removal of the A/C system and soon to be heater and windshield wipers. This is a daily driver while I'm home, not a show car or just go car...my family actually rides in this and my wife drives it just as well as I do!
