Drifting the 08 Challenger and Bullitt Mustang

Dodge is promoting the new 1/2 Ton Ram and Challenger to dealers all around the country. Part of this promotion is a ride in the 08 SRT Challenger with a professional driver. A friend of mine, David Andahl, is that driver so I was used as a test passenger to check for the change in vehicle dynamics if one intentionally created a higher than average speed drift situation. The Challenger with its 4000 pound weight and 400+ lb/ft of torque did fine but the lighter Bullitt Mustang with its 300 lb/ft of torque behaved very differently with a passenger. The increase in traction created by the additional passenger made the car "push".
