We have all had some tough landings...wow, but I am glad I was not on this plane when the pilot tried to put it down. Wonder what they were saying in the cockpit.

May 7, 2008 at 7:38 pm: perfectly normal approach (weather vaning into the wind) then during flare, wing into the wind and opposite rudder to maintain runway centerline. My guess....wind shear. Notice how sudden the plane drops just before it gets into its ground effect. He lost his headwind all of a sudden before he could establish runway centerline. Lesson, don't land during an approaching storm! But then, the passengers would just whine about being 30 minutes late.
