There has been quite a lot of talk about the effectiveness and increased visibility provided by modern light emitting diode, or LED, taillights in street rods, but that is only half the story. The superior brightness of LEDs is also being applied to the front of those relics in an increased effort to provide optimum visibility during both day and night operation. Carson, California’s United Pacific Industries, manufacturers of LED lighting products for both street rods and muscle cars, has just introduced their amber LED turn signal light, which is a direct-fit replacement for the front signals for the 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe and sedan, as well as the 1940-41 Ford light duty pickups.
