I got the truck from my grandfather when i was 13 with hopes of having it restored and ready to drive by the time i turned 16... as you can tell that didnt happen.
Since i have gotten it, It has gone through three motores and 2 tranny's...
it started as a frame off resto. i painted the frame, put a posi under it and kyb's all arround with new springs. but as u can tell the 3 blown up motors have taked a toll on the frame so im gonna have to start all over...
I guess I got a bad habit, and it ain't goin' away.
1969 Chevy short box... posi rear... it will have a NEW turbo 350 tranny with a 335 stroker.. hopefully it should run like a raped ape if i ever finish it...
Engine is the original 350. Transmission is an automatic 350 turbo. 4x2.
No factory options listed.
No power anything. Came with a AM radio, and a heater/defroster.
No modifications listed.
The engine was rebuilt, and the block has been painted orange. M/T valve covers replaced the originals. It has Flowmaster headers that lead directly to the red Flowmaster glasspacks, and both sides of the exhaust turn out at a 45 degree angle in front of the rear wheels. It has an Edelbrock 750cfm 4 barrel Performer carburator. The shifter was relocated from the column to the floor. The new shifter is a B&M slap shifter. The truck has new 35" tires, and has new lowering coils. The rear windshield has a huge 32" decal that says "The Offspring", a Fly Navy sticker since I am in aviation in the US Navy, Flowmaster sticker, B&M sticker, and an Edelbrock Carburators sticker. At the top center of the front windshield is another Navy sticker.
